Back when Jazz was so sick and spent so much time in the hospital, “He” and “She” got to know some of the inhabitants there. You might remember, we introduced you to Tiny Tim at that time. Here’s an updated picture of him:
There are actually several cats who are currently living in the clinic that are looking for homes. Tiny Tim is not one of them – he has pretty much found his home! However, one of the kitties who is in dire need of a forever family is Zackary. She tried to get some good pictures of Zack, but because he is pretty much in perpetual motion giving head-butts and otherwise showing affection, some of these are pretty blurry!
I think Zack is a great guy, but I might be a little biased since we are both members of the Gray Male Tabby Society. But, here’s a little information about Zackary, in case you wanted to know: He is approximately five years old, is neutered and declawed and has to be an indoor kitty. He is terribly affectionate, however he does have some quirks. Zackary is a touch neurotic and has a difficult time adjusting to change. He needs a very stable family environment and would do best as an only pet. Zack’s neuroses manifest themselves in various ways, however, mainly in barbering. If you aren’t familiar with that, it is basically where the cat chews his hair off. He doesn’t chew the skin, just the hair. This eventually gives the impression he’s been shaved. Zackary has been doing much better as of late – as you can see, he has most of his hair, but there is constant change in the inhabitants in the clinic, and that has a tendency to upset his world.
If you, or anyone you know, could provide a loving, stable environment for Zackary, please let us know! You can leave a comment here, or contact any of the wonderful staff at Mitchell Veterinary Clinic at 334-857-3931. If you’ve been thinking of providing a home to a loving pet, Zack might just be the guy for you. Tiny Tim would really appreciate it – it would mean more food for him!
