Happy St. Patrick’s Day

Happy St. Patrick’s Day to ya!  Today is all about the Wearin’ o’ the Green, and while traditionally it is an Irish observance, we here at The House of 9 Lives are always open to a little celebration!

 Hey guys…guys?

Excuse me!

Well, apparently, centuries-old Irish tradition is no match for cat-napping in a sunbeam. I hope your celebration is a little more exciting than what is going on around here!

  1. Happy St. Patrick’s Day to you, Barney. I must admit I am sympathetic to your fellows, having just had a nap myself.
I stumbled upon your blog and was happily surprised to discover how much I have in common with your “She”.

I was also in awe of the snow-could She be from Alabama, as well? Then of course I noticed the “Alabama Knitters” logo- I’m ever the observant one.
Love of kitties-I share my home with two.
I also knit-tho I have two projects gathering dust-better get on that.
The mention of a Mamaw. I also had a Mamaw who inspired my family’s love of crafts. She died in 2003.
I will keep up with your blog. Perhaps, if it tickles your feline fancy, you might one day visit mine? (shameless plug, I’m afraid)

  2. Minnie said to tell you that she wishes she could have come and enjoyed a puddle of sun with you (but I have to tell you that she would be looking for a way to aggravate all other kitties in the puddle until she could claim it all for herself :-). That’s just how she is.
