Or, at least in the pasture! (Warning if you are squeamish about bats, you might want to skip this post.) When “He” and “She” were out walking the fence-line yesterday afternoon, they happened upon this little fellow taking a nap. There he was in the bright afternoon sunshine hanging on the barbed wire. This little guy was quite oblivious to his imminent debut on the world wide web, but here he is!
Unfortunately the pictures are blurry. It was a combination of the little guy swaying with the wind and, “She” was shaking like a leaf because she was so close trying to get a close up of his cute little ears and nose!
The first thing “She” did after the encounter was look for information on bats. If you would like to learn more about bats, here is good information. She was surprised to find that many of the things she thought were facts are actually myths! Who knew?
Of course, we cats have been putting up with this myth thing for quite sometime! Here are some of the most common myths about cats!
I’ll tell you, another myth that seems to abound around here at The House of 9 Lives, is that I’m actually interested in writing these posts! I can tell you, that one’s not true!
These other cats are batty!
