I’m not old enough to remember that song by Kool and the Gang, but satellite radio has a lot of oldies stations, and it just sums up the atmosphere around here right now.
All of us here at The House of 9 Lives are doing some cat dancing and some celebrating because Daughter got the job promotion she applied for! We are all so happy for her and proud of all the work she is doing to achieve her goal of graduating from college and beginning her professional career.
We are also impressed with the company she works for in that they have recognized her potential and are giving her an opportunity to expand her horizons. We know she will be a great employee for them, even if we might not be the most impartial group on that subject!
